Hi , we have got a 1999 Chrysler Grand Voyager 3.3 LE in good
condition but with no power to the cigarette lighter/rear aux power
    socket.

Checked both fuse boxes and both look 100%. No reference to the said
fuse in either fuse boxes or even the Chilton manual?!

Pulled out lighter housing from dash and red and black wiring to it
but no voltage. Orange wire to dash light works with side lights

Many a Sat Nav and DVD player etc waiting for a solution to this
 - any help appreciated, thanks Chris

PS both cigarette lighters are as new so it looks as though there has
never been any power to these sockets?!! :

  3. Meaningless. So the prior owners wern't smokers.

The owners manual in the glovebox should have the
location of the fuses and what they go to. Take a 12 volt
test light and touch both ends of all of the fuses with the
wires from the light. If the light lights up, the fuse is blown.

Fuses can look OK but be blown.

    PS Chiltons are worthless

Have you tried with the ignition on?

Cig lighters are controlled by a relay in the underhood relay box, the
ignition has to be on to energize the relay.
