    Hi,

I am thinking of purchasing a UK sourced and spec'd pre-owned
2001,2002 Grand Voyager 2.5 CRD however I picked up the following info
from www.honestjohn.co.uk with regard to the diesel model gearbox...

"...Gearbox problem with diesel models. Inappropriate ratios.
Difficulty engaging gears. Baulking when changing up. Modified
gearboxes shoud have been supplied and fitted by now, but the car you
are buying might have slipped throughn the net, particularly if its an
    independent import."

    and also

"TSB recall of diesel models for gearboxes to be replaced. "

Was there a recall and all diesel models gearboxes replaced ? If so
should I double check this with the dealer ?

I do recall a friend who has had a couple of Voyagers saying that the
gear ratios on the 2003 model he had were much better than the
    previous model.

Thanks for any info in advance.
