Trying to diagnose Chrysler 2013 town & Country

I have a 2013 town and country sporadically when I hit the brake or in idle it'll jerk them won't go anywhere til I put it in park turn it off and back on. It doesn't throw a code. I got use to it doing this and if I feel it start to do it it hurry up and throw it in park then it's fine. If I don't catch it in time I have to shut it off and back on. My dad has the same van but a 2016 his is starting to do it too. Any ideas? I'm thinking it's a sensor somewhere but I don't know which one I did the map sensor
