Hi Guys I recently purchased a 1987 5th avenue. It was running great up until last Thursday.I would try to start the car and it would just turn over and not catch any spark; I was told that it was a bad igntion module. This car has the 318 "Lean Burn" engine and from what I have read so far they were duds. I went and talked to a a mechanic friend of mine and he suggested a lean burn bypass procedure. Would this solve the problem and would the car start? I had taken the leand burn box off of the air cleaner and opened it up only to see that the replacement module I had purchased was not the same as was in the lean burn box. I would really appreciate any or all sorts of write back! Thanx!

Could anyone out there in Moparland walk me through this procedure
