The steel tubes that supply power steering fluid from one side of the
rack to the other side of the rack are rusting out. Local sources are
willing to sell me a complete rebuilt rack but not just the steel
tubes. Anyone know an online source for these parts or maybe the actual
    tube size ?

    88 Chrysler New Yorker.
Thank New York State for the road salt.

Well with 96 inches of snow in some parts of upstate NY this year I would
expect them to use something on to roads to make them passable. Your car
made it 19 years. Maybe you should complain to chrysler for not using
    stainless steel.

You posted the same question on the 24th of Jan. and got a reply with a
possible source (http://ruscohyd.com). That source didn't pan out?

I just looked this up again for him. Guess he did not see it.

Are these standard double flared ends? Remove the tubes, take to your
FLAPS, buy some brake line the same size/length. Bend to match (you'll
need to buy a tubing bender for this.) Et voila, done.

If you want a replacement that won't rust out, send your old parts off
to Classic Tube and have them make you some new ones in stainless. Or
just call 'em up; they might already have a pattern, or can sell you
some bulk tube and fittings if you have your own flaring tools.

    good luck,

I suspect this place could do the job but for more than I am willing to
    pay.

The car will be on the road till May. I'd like to run it thru the
winter but not sink big bucks into it.

    Thanks
