Ram 1500 wiper/fuse trouble

Hello all...

A good friend has a '94 Ram 1500...He recently discovered,in the
rain,no less,his wipers weren't working. He checks fuse(toast) and
replaces it.

Tries again,smokes 2nd fuse as well(instantly)

Has anyone seen this before?? Wiper motor failure? Certain harness
wire colors to check?

Any help would be appreciated...
