questions about 1996 Dodge Neon

Discussion in 'Neon' started by David Sherman, Jun 6, 2006.

  1. I have 2 questions:

    1. I am looking for a mechanic in Columbus OH that will look at the
car and tell me what is wrong with it.

    2. The problem is last night I was driving ( I have driven for about
30 minutes before this occurred) and the car started to shake and I
heard some noise. The noise was coming from the left rear. After the
car rested for 2 hours, I took someone and heard the noise again. I
then got on the freeway and the noise went away. I got on a side
street and the noise return. I heard the noise for about 10 minutes
and then the noise stopped. I drove the car for about 10 more minutes
    and noise didn't returned.

    Any ideas or suggestions.

    thanks

Have your tires checked. Uneven wear or damage can result in noises and
shakes. It can additionally be dependent on the surface you are driving on,
which may account for its intermittent nature.
