Hello I have a 2002 pt cruiser touring edition and thru a long drawn out process I had to put a new power steering pump and belt on. Power steering works again now but whines something awful. I've tried every bleeding process I can find. Still whines and pushes fluid out from under the res cap. I have been recently told by a auto parts supply store employee that I should have put ATF+4 trans fluid back in instead of power steering fluid. He says the power steering fluid can cause my problem. Do y'all agree or disagree and why please. Between over heating and the power steering I've been working on this thing since last fall. I've got to much money in it to give up except I, me use it as a rifle n pistol target. Please help ASAP.
