Oil Filter change 2005 Dakota

    The filter location is such that the oil will drip on hose and cables
    that are located below the filter. The service manual does not offer
    any advise. Anyone have any tricks to keep the oil off these hoses.

    wrap them in tin foil.

    do you also avoid puddles with your truck?
