Neutralize/remove cigaret odor in car?

My departmental head is a heavy cigaret smoker. This last weekend, I
was volunteered to run him out to Peachtree City for a golf
tournament. He went through about a pack of cigarets en route to the
tourney and another pack and a half or so on the way back, and now my
Mercedes-Benz smells like his Virginia Slims.

Is there any way to remove the smell all the way?

    Deae Lloyd Parker:

Ozone will do this, if applied in a careful way. The "careful" part will
prevent damage to the foam rubber in your upholstery (next the colors, then
crack the dash, finally destroy the insulation on the wires). Auto
detailing places near you may have ozone available. Call around. If they
have it you will be pleasantly surprised.

After that, your department head will soon die of cancer, and you will be
rid of future exposure to smoke as well.

By a spray bottle of Fabreeze - even comes in extra strong now. No scent for
perfumed. Amazing stuff. Works almost instantly. Cigarette smell, cigars,
    dogs - you name it.

  5. I think you mean Ozium. Ozone is the former VPOTUS.

And, if you buy him more cigarettes, you may even get his job...

    Dear Da Parrot-chick:

I do mean ozone, the stuff used in aquariums, drinking water, wastewater,
    remediations, etc.

I haven't used Ozium. I have used ozone for removing odor from smokers
    cars.

    VPOTUS means?

  8. I never heard of it. Interesting. I don't suppose it's actual ozone?
Vice President Of The United States (the former VPOTUS is Al Gore, whose
attention to the environment earned him the derisive label of Ozone by the
far right conservative movement). There's also POTUS and SCOTUS, for the
    President & Supreme Court, respectively.

What the hell is this doing cross-posted like this, anyhow? How the hell
did I get myself posted from my driving group to a sex group I'd never visit
in a million years? I'm done with this thread.

Start smoking. After a few weeks, you won't notice the smell anymore.

  12. Carcinogenisis is too slow a process to be of much help. Faster processes
    are almost always illegal.

Huh! I learn something new every day. I always thought Gore was the

  17. Hoogeeze, here we go again with idiotic "arguments" that smoking is
harmless fun and the cancer connection doesn't exist, and it's all a big
plot to crush the freedom of smokers and blah blah blah...
