If the odometer works, but the Speedo needle doesn't is it the speed sensor?

    1991 Chrysler New Yorker 5th Avenue, 3.8L.

    When this happened on my 1990 Dodge Spirit, it was the speed sensor.

    The odometer continued to work.

  5. On that model it could be a broken cable.
