    Hi all,

One mechanic asked 6 hours labor for changing the timing belt on my 91
    Sundance 2.5 autm, no A/C.
Is this a normal time? He told me this is the time labor mentioned in
the "catalogue" for timing belt changing.
I did the same operation 2 years ago with another mecanic in around 1
(one) hour. But from one hour to 6 is some time...
I did not accept and I would prefered to do it myself. I did this in
the past once. I just wanted to save some of my time.

  2. 6 hours? That is excessive. I teach with show and tell and we do it
in a little over an hour, with questions being asked. Do it yourself.
    GOOD LUCK
