GCaravan 2003, 3.3 A/C question

While the A/C is operating, you hear a hissing flow sound under the
passenger dash side. Is this normal

If you have it in the max or recirculate yes there will be some extra sound.
There is also a little sound from the expansion of the refrigerant too.
