When it gets below freezing, the #8 fuse under the hood will blow when
attempting to start the engine. This fuse services the fuel pump,
    starter solenoid, and ignition.

Is it possible that the solenoid is drawing more current when cold,
    and causes the overload?

    Thanks,

    KM
