Fuel pump question for Neon '97

Does anyone know if a fuel pump off of a 2001 Plymouth Neon
would also fit/work on a '97 Neon...?

5018704aa so they do not fit interchange is 96 97 only

You cannot base interchange answers on part number. Multiple part numbers
for interchangeable items are *utterly* common in the Chrysler parts
system, and have been for decades.
