Flasher unit for Dodge Spirit

Discussion in 'General Motoring' started by Kirk Matheson, Dec 5, 2003.

  1. I am looking for a flasher unit for my 1990 Dodge Spirit. This is the
turn signal flasher. What makes this flasher different, is that it has
a small *rectangle* on top that is used for mounting. The rectangle
fits into the mounting slot, and then is turned 1/4 turn to lock it in
    place.

If it were not for this, probably any flasher would do. I have tried
Autozone, Napa, and Checker without any luck.

    Thanks,

  2. I used to rob the flasher bracket from '60s-'70s Chrysler products in the
wrecking yard. They clipped perfectly into the square hole in the flasher
mounting tab on the underside of the LH A/C duct of my spirits, then I
could use whatever flasher I wanted.

The flasher you need is a number 224, NAPA number NFL BP224TT.
