My son and I bought this 2008 Chrysler 300 Touring in early 2016. It was a neighbor's company vehicle. I took the car back December 2024 when he finished with it as a spare since it has never been wrecked and I needed a spare car. He did not update the car and many critical issues had to be corrected. The byproduct of all the updates is a P1607 OBM code. The car will occasionally cutoff at red lights or parking lots. It appears that is a symptom of that code. I have come to believe the work on the timing belt, new spark plugs and coil packs, and throttle body issues has caused this. It leads me to believe the ECM needs updating or replaced. I discovered the aftermarket ECMs programmed to your VIN # method. Are these devices a solid option to consider? Thank you
