98 Intrepid, wiper arm removal?

    If it is like my 95 Eagle....

    1. Lift up on the arm
    2. Locate a small tab at the base of the arm (where is connects to the
    transmission assembly). Using a screwdriver, pull out on that tab.
    Shouldn't require that much force. Let arm back down and it should rest
    on that tab.
    3. Pull arm off.


    If yours isn't like this, dis-regaurd this information.

    Straight from the FSM: You have to remove the plastic/rubber cap at the
    center of rotation (pry off carefull with something that won't scratch
    the metal). It conceals a nut that you of course loosen, and then
    wiggle the arm off of the shaft.

    It is possble to change blade rubber without removing arm.
