The MAIN problem with the early NEON's was the Headgasket. It was
not a coolant problem which is the usual problem with headgaskets. It
leaks oil from the drivers side (rear) corner of the head/block. It
usually looks like a rear main bearing leak, as the oil drips down tht
back corner of the block and down the tranny/engine area and off the
bottom of the flywheel inspection plate. Check with the dealer
service person (give them the VIN) and see if it has been done. You
don't have to have it done unless it IS leaking.

GOOD LUCK

He didn't ask about that...he asked about the o2 sensor position... I think
it's at the back on the exhaust manifold passenger side of engine.... you may
want to buy a Haynes manual.... they come in handy..

The way I did my '95 last year was to remove the air cleaner box and the
sensor is right underneath it.
