I'm having problems with my fuel gauge going crazy. Up, down, up, down and
then it will stay down on E for a while and jump back up. Also my fuel
indicator light keeps going on and off even when the gauge reads full. Also,
the windshield washer fluid indicator light stays on even though it is full.
CHeck engine light comes on most of the time. I checked the code and it is
giving 33. A/C clutch or cutout relay. Which A/C is not blowing very cold
air. Also, when I turn the key on I hear a clicking sound under the dash on
the passenger side. Sounds like a motor that is rubbing something. The sound
stops after about 5 seconds and only does it again if I turn the blower
motor off. But it does it when I first turn the key to the on position and I
don't even have the blower on. When the blower is on, the clicking sound is
not present. Could all this be related to the problem with all my gauge and
indicator light problems also? A short maybe? Any help would be greatly
    appreciated. Thanks!

If you have the Auto climate control then the motor clicking sound
could be from the little fan motor at the interior temperature sensor
behind the rectangular hole in the dash at the passenger side.
The Check Engine code and weak A/C suggests a low charge in the
    system.
Don't know about the Washer light and it could very well be an
intermittent open circuit. The fuel guage reads full at 0 Ohms and
empty at 1000 ohms resistance. I had fuel guage problems due to
additives in Shell gas. Removing the sending unit from the tank and
cleaning the carbon resistance printed circuit board with a tooth
brush restored the gauge to normal operation.

Thanks Mr. Elbe. I will try charging the A/C and will try the sending unit
trick for the fuel gauge. As far as auto climate control, I don't think it
has that. I just bought the car so I am not sure. There is no digital
readout so I am guessing there is no auto climate control. Thanks again.
