92 5th ave fuel pump

    am i in trouble?? the in-tank fuel pump recently started making a noticable
    whinning noise, car still runs great. what do i do??

    Replace while the car is still in your driveway.
    Whining is a classic sign that it is getting ready to give up.
    BTW if you should get stuck, rapping the bottom of the tank with a blunt
    object can sometimes get it going again. No metal on metal sparks please!
