91 newyorker electical problem

It's happend twice now.Motor runs but turn signals radio ect. won't come
on. It chimes continously untill I shut the car off then it was fine.
Any ideas? THANKS

It sounds like a ignition switch.Check and make sure the key is springing
back to normal position after starting.Also they had problems with wire
harness connector getting hot and melting were it plugs into the ign.
