I recently bought an '04 Chrysler 300M and need to know where the Oil Filter
location is. The owners manual doesn't show the location.

Any info appreciated. Thanks

Should be drivers side, behind and below alternator, behind oil cooler
pressure control valve and oil pressure switch. Sits at 45 degree angle
to the block, with mounting surface pointed up.

When changing oil, pre-fill filter to about 1/2 full with fresh oil
before installing to reduce the time needed to fill the filter when the
engine is first started. Will reduce time that engine is running with
no or minimal oil pressure.
