Hi, we just bought a "new" used 2003 T&C xli. It has a pretty fancy
radio. When we bought it on some FM stations it showed an artist/group
and song scrolling next to time on the display. I know that station
provides that info. I had to read the book to figure out all those
fancy functions, ets. So yesterday I messed with some buttons on the
radio and my kids wanted to watch DVD so we figured out how to do that
and listen to the radio at the same time. I also played with PTY button
wich shows info on what kind of music radio station is broadcasting
(like Jazz or Classic Rock, etc.) So now when in FM mode the
artist/song thing does not scroll anymore and I canot figure out how to
turn that back on - the book does not say anything. I tried to punch
all kinds of buttons and it still does not do anything - just static
name of the station is displayed. (Like "The BUZZ") and that's it. I
feel stupid to drive to the dealer to ask them asbout that... So
please, if you know how to toggle that functionality, let me know.
    Apprecite your help.

If what you are saying is the artist is not on all the songs, that is normal
    to my understanding

Well it does not show it at all now - nowhere. It just shows the name
of the station like we have 94.1 and they are called "The BUZZ" so all
i can see is "The BUZZ" next to the time and it has been like that for
a couple of days. That is the station where it scrolled the artist/song
name before I played with the buttons...

I guess what I am trying to say is that it does not show artist/song
anywhere anymore, and after trying to punch all kinds of buttons (and
even combinations of buttons) I cannot get it to display the
    artist/song again.

It is the radio station that beams out the info for the song titles. The
radio isn't showing it because the radio station isn't beaming out the info.
And not all song's will beam out the info. It happened to our station in
Phoenix before. It lasted a few days, so I believe it was something to do
with there equipmant. It is the station. Try switching stations to see if it
    will show music info.

Yes I know what radio your van has, I work on these vans everyday. I believe
it is the station that puts it out. I havent looked in the owners manual but
I think you may find the answer somewhere in it

Read the whole darn thing last night (the manual). Never read a manual
for a car in my life - this is the first one. Did not say anything
about that feature. I guess David is right - it must've been a
coincidence that i was pushing buttons when it stoped showing the info.
And I thought at first that it might be the station - but after it did
not do anything for a day, I thought it was me who screwed it up...

find anything in it about that... The first time i read any car
    manual...
I think David might be right, I guess it might've been just a
coincidence that I was pushing buttons when it stopped showing the
info. And I had a thought that it might be the radio station - but when
it lasted for more than a day, I thought that I pushed something that
    screwed it up.

Also should let you know, ocassionally the title of certain songs also stay
on display well after it has finished. Had one a month ago stay on for a few
hours. It is something to do with the cd's and Radio stations. That's why
some old cd's do not show info on display, and newer ones do.

I have a 2004 T&C. while in a different city I noticed the same thing
as you did - song title and artist scrolling across the display. It
only happened for a particular station. Most stations only send out
the call sign or nickname. I am fairly sure that the display is
dependant on the radio station and what digital info they pass along
    over the air.

Thanks a lot for all the info! The car is way too fancy with all those
bells and whistles (I like it though ;). Artist/song scrolling did come
back this morning on the stations that had it before. I guess they were
doing something with their equipment for 2 days. It is kinda funny
since we just bought the car last Sunday and I did not know anything
about the radio (too many buttons) and was just trying to figure out
what all those buttons do and just when I pushed one the artist/song
thing disappeared and switched to a static station name - so of course
my thought was I messed it up by pushing buttons. Again thanx a lot for
    the info.
