2002 Mini Van AC problem.

Anyone know anything about the AC evap temp sensor on the 2002 Voyager with the 2.4 engine. AC works intermittently. runs cold for 15 to 20 minutes then shut down, turn it off for about 15 minutes then back on and it starts working again. I have removed and checked the sensor & it checks open, no resistance. I'm assuming it has to have some resistance but nada ohms. I heated it a little with a heat gun, no change. Problem: No replacements seem to be available so I will probably have to locate one in a salvage yard so does anyone have specs on one? A range of ohms from cold to warm.
