Does anyone know of a good place online to find solid directions to
change an alternator for a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus? I've been searching
all over the place, haven't come across anything. The one on the car I
have in front of me is shot, and getting the belt off of it is proving
    to be harder then expected.

    Thanks!

Posting the engine size will get more results.

It is a sad creature, deserving of pity, not anger.
Any direct response simply feeds it,

It also despises American cars, and anything made in USA or American-

How many misdiagnosis did you have to make to get those alternators? The OP
didn't state what engine and there are 3 engine sizes for that vehicle.
    2.0/2.4 and 2.5
