I finally have gotten the blower motor out of my 90 caravan (5 screws
as well as loosening the metal support for the heater system). I
determined that the fan was bad by measuring the resistance across the
leads - it was open circuit. Also, there was battery voltage at the
    connector.

However, I can't figure out how to get the fan/turbine off the old
motor. It has a hose clamp around the shaft that I took off, but I
can't budge the fan. There are two slots that looked like a screw
driver could be used to separate them. Does the blower motor
replacement usually come with the fan installed or should I be able to
swap the fan from the old motor?

    Thanks for your help.
