Hi guys, my transmision stopped working few weeks ago. I removed it and found out that the oil pump was worn out. I cleaned the transmission, change the oil and replace the oil pump. The oil pumps has two snap rings on the hub that goes inside the transmission. One ring was broken, so I took a chance and installed the oil pump with only one ring on it. the trnsmission work well in reverse and in 1st gear but does not move to second or third gear. I check the oil level and the kick down gear to ensure they were not the cause. all good. It is possible that the problem is because I have one ring missing? anyone has the same problem? thanks
