    Hi,

I have a 1996 Intrepid and since New years eve my running light will not
    turn off.
I have to disconnect the battery to get them to shut off.

The lights are on at all times and the high beam signal inside the
vehicle also is on. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

  2. This is the typical failure mode for the Chrysler Daytime Running Lights
module. I do not remember where they put the module in the Intrepid, but
you'll have to find it and unplug it. To fix the problem, you can either
purchase and install another (expensive) factory module that will fail in
the same manner in a few years, or you can get the better DRL module
    available from www.webelectricmagazine.com .
