2001 5 speed PT limited.....33,000 miles and the warranty is up end of
MAY...
first time (about year ago) it would die while driving, and or
running.damned incontinent at 60MPH, no error codes showed up and the
computer they hook up to it and drive it also found NOTHING...after repeated
tries, 2 tows and a threat about reporting a "lemon", the dealer called
chrysler and they send out a control module.......fixed and still OK
second time (last week) PT felt sluggish and under a load ( 5sp) in 3 4 or 5
gear it "stumbled" slightly.
dealer hooked it up to the computer and took it for a ride up a small hill
about 1 mile long..........YEP
they replaced 4 plugs and the full set of ignition wires, although ONLY 2
were leaking.
intent here is to remind anyone that has one still under warranty........get
on record and complain if it does not feel right.
