    Thanks Steve,

Do I have to remove the caliper on a '95 LeBaron in order to change
    the brake pads?

A friend tells me that there is usually no need to remove the caliper
to replace the brake pads. The shop manual said to on the earlier
LeBaron, but I know the shop manual sometimes makes things harder
    than they have to be.

The only way you will get the pads off is if you remove the calipers!! Are
you sure you want to try this job yourself??

Yes, I'll do fine. I was fully prepared to take the calipers off, but
my friend said he didn't think it was necessary. Since I can't
remembe the details of the last time I did this, I only had what the
shop manual said as evidence otherwise. I didn't want to wait until
    the last minute to plan.
